Peace, love, and flower power! Join Girls on the Run Utah at our 11th annual Sneaker Soirée.

Free parking will be available on campus in the parking lot north of the venue.

Time

5:30 p.m. Cocktail party, silent auction, drinks, appetizers, photo booth, and live music.

We suggest arriving no later than 7 p.m. to allow time to check in and enjoy the party! Dinner and program to follow.

Heather VanBoreum

In December 2021, Heather was in a devastating accident that left her as a double leg amputee. In recovery, Heather now spends time sharing her story, inspiring others, and radiating positivity. Heather grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since she was a little girl, Heather had the nickname "Flower."

Coach of the Year

Michelle Alba

Michelle is a superstar teacher at Edison Elementary School who has been coaching with Girls on the Run for four years. As the head coach of one of our largest and most diverse teams in Utah, Michelle is a shining advocate of female mentorship who is dedicated to uplifting every girl in her community.

Crystal Maggelet

Crystal has supported Girls on the Run Utah since our council started in 2007. Not only has Crystal been a Girls on the Run coach, running buddy, and board member, she has helped secure essential financial and in-kind donations through Maverik such as sponsorships, employee volunteers and board members, conference room space, event support, and so much more.
